Syntax Highlighting

HippoEDIT is a text editor with syntax highlighting. Source code editor comes with pre-defined syntax highlighting schemes for PHP, Perl, Java, Pascal, C/C++, HTML, XML, XSLT and syntax highlighting definitions">more. Additional programming languages can be plugged with custom syntax files. Syntax highlighting definitions are inheritable and embeddable.

Following example shows highlighting of C++ file with MFC extension.
MFC syntax highlighting schema is inherited from C++ syntax highlighting schema, C++ definition is inherited from C syntax etc.
